Shell Crux Unmanned Gas Platform: Full Telecoms Systems Integration (TSI) scope. Design, procurement, assembly, configuration, test, deliver, commission 20 packages. 1821 drawings and documents. 28 cabinets delivered in 13 months.
Woodside IROC
2024-2026
Design, Install, Commission and Integrate the Telecommunications and Communications systems for Woodside’s new Integrated Remote Operations Centre (IROC) and Alternative Remote Operations Centre (ARCC). At its heart, the control room fully controls 2 offshore assets and 2 onshore processing trains, and is a first of its kind anywhere in the world. WNA carried out works on this project including:
- Design of new RADAR, Radio Console, Operational Phone, Voice Recording, Satellite phone, CCTV and PAGA Telecoms Systems for the IROC and ARCC
- Installation Design of the Communications Installation for all Telecoms, AV, KVM, IT Network, OT Network, and OT clients for both the IROC and ARCC
- Installation, Patching and Interconnection of all Telecoms, AV, KVM, IT Network, OT Network, and OT client equipment in the IROC Central Equipment Room, comprising of more than 3000 connections
- Commissioning of all Telecoms systems for the IROC and ARCC
- Cutover of Telecoms systems for 2x existing assets from current operating model to full remote operations, and integration of 2x new assets to remote operations with Zero downtime to production
- Preparation and completion of the handover documentation incorporating over 400 individual artifacts
Santos Varanus Island MEO

Santos Varanus Island MEO System: installation support work with and for Marlink to produce documentation. Assistance with installation activities.
Mineral Resources Onslow Iron
2023-2024
Mineral Resources Onslow Iron Project: Assist Mineral Resources with high level design, preparation of specifications & scopes of work, tender bid evaluation, commissioning supervision for haul road telecommunications. Feasibility study and high level design for iron ore transfer barge communications to shore.
Woodside Pyrenees Microwave

BHP Petroleum/Woodside Pyrenees FPSO microwave upgrade: Assess/select study. Manage NCFAA process for shared use of Telstra Cape Range facility. Feasibility study, detailed design, procurement, FAT, SIT and SAT for 1m stabilised antenna microwave system link to shore.
Woodside Scarborough

Woodside Scarborough Floating Production Unit (FPU) Project: Subcontracted to Viasat. Design, procurement, assembly, configuration, test, documentation for the radio packages. VHF marine band, VHF air band, UHF (DMR Tier III), radio console system, voice recording, GMDSS.
Pilbara Minerals Pilgangoora

Pilbara Minerals Pilgangoora Project: Microwave path profiles. Radio communications coverage studies. Communications Strategy. Specifications and Scopes of Work – towers, shelters, data centres, radio, microwave. Tender bid evaluation. Site Supervision.
Shell-QGC-Radio-Coverage-Studies
2022-ongoing
UHF TETRA and UHF telemetry radio coverage studies using Infovista Planet software across the extent of Shell QGC’s upstream operations in Queensland. Each tranche of new wells is assessed for land mobile radio coverage and telemetry access point connectivity. Potential infrastructure locations are modelled as necessary.

Strike Energy - South Eregulla Project
2025-2026
Design concept development for interconnection of Strike Energy assets to Western Power network. Detailed design, documentation, procurement, configuration, assembly, test, installation and commissioning of shelter, DC power systems, microwave radio, multiplex and SEAL across three sites in accordance with Western Power product and design standards.

Shell Crux - Walk to Work Vessel
2025-2026
Shell awarded a contract to WNA to design and supply the Owner Furnished Equipment (telecoms) for the Walk to Work vessel which is being constructed by ST Engineering in Singapore. This vessel will support the operations and maintenance of the Crux unmanned platform.
WNA undertook the detailed design, documentation, procurement, configuration, assembly, test and delivery of the following systems:
- SDWAN dynamically selecting from private LTE (Crux location), public LTE (Darwin port), dual Starlink and dual Oneweb options.
- Firewall, LAN, WiFi (Fortinet)
- Entertainment system (Swift with dual Sailor 120 FTA TVRO antennas)
- PoB & mustering system (EPIC)
- UHF radio DAS (extended from Crux platform)
- Radio console system (Omnitronics)
- Fleet Broadband (Sailor 500)
